Woo-hoo! I'm the first to vote. In the spirit of the season, I went for "Christmas time is here". Don't want to leave it for January!-

Come on all you lurkers!!! Get your votes in even if you prefer to stay anon!!! That way we can all benefit!

I felt obliged to vote for 'Fly me to the moon' after I suggested it, but then I was really pleased that someone else had suggested "Miss Jones". Hopefully we can still handle a Christmas song as well, but if that's too much, there's always next year - and I've got a bit more time to practice

cheers,
Tony

"Have You Met Miss Jones," is complicated enough to analyse but moves in ways that will help generally I think on other tunes as well, especially the B section.

I thought I'd mention, I gave this poll a 5 day life. So, after Dec. 1st 2010 votes will no longer be accepted.

I'm not voting, as I feel I'll be able to learn from and contribute to the discussion based on whatever tune y'all pick.

... I would be interested in Line for Lyons or In Your Own Sweet Way but ... Have You Met Miss Jones will do fine ... too.

Autumn Leaves is fairly straight ahead and comparable to Blue Bossa in complexity, if that level was appropriate for this thread.
