On your own posts you press the edit button and choose delete (a couple of times) and that's it Others posts are a bit more difficult to delete

Yes, you have control only, of your own posts. If it is another author, you need to go thru a moderator.

Dirk even wrote in an earlier post "You can delete your message by using the edit button in your post and then the 'Go Advanced' button."

Ok I understand and I am talking of my own posts - but if I go edit I find no way to choose delete and even if Go Advanced I find no way to delete? If I just deletes the earlier message and try to save changes - then I'm told that the message is too short....? What am I doing wrong?

I went to one of my posts, entered "edit", simply selected the text I wanted to delete, hit the delete button on my mouse, then I think, posted it again, and the part I wanted to delete, was deleted.

Ok, I just wanted to delete a post that had no comments, now it has so it doesn't matter any longer - thanks anyway!

Yes, I am trying to delete a post with no comments; however, I did not see where the "delete" option was in the "go advanced" screen. Am I blind? If so, then perhaps I should be in the blues guitar forum. Thanks.
