Music Song from Goodfellas

I was watching Goodfellas for about the 31st time and was suddenly awestruck by the smart, serene guitar accompaniment in Steve Allen's "Pretend You Don't See Her" from the scene when Henry takes Karen on the dinner date and have since tried to get the chords.
I've found them, played them, and they sound nothing like the song. Could it be the tuning?
the chords(?): Pretend You Don't See Her
the song: YouTube - Jerry Vale - Pretend you don't see her
Has Mr. Guy neglected to mention a necessary capo?
Thanks in advance for any responses.
