Help Affirmation

Hello,

Does anyone have any good ideas for playing over this tune? What substitutions could i put in there if any?

I dont have a repertoire as such and thought i'd master affirmation to have as my first tune. At the moment all i do is play minor arpeggios in the root position and relative major arps over it. It sounds nice but still...

Cheers.

Default Affirmation

Instead of just thinking Am7, do this Am is the relative of CMaj. Right. So any arpeggioe that is in the key of C will work in conjunction with Am7.egc
Cmaj7, Dm7, Em7, FMaj7, G7, Am7, Bm7flat5. Before you can get this to sound good, you will need to Practice going from Am7 in to any of the above mentioned arp's. This will require a lot of work but excellence always does. Try also the triad version of the above Chords. Keep your arppegioes down to 3 or 4 note version. This will be the only way that your licks will sound creative other wise they sound landscaped or scripted. Try this Am7, Bm7flat5, CMaj7, Dm7, Em7, Fma7, G7, Am7 in eigth or 16th notes. Do the same starting on Em7. Use Am7 & Em7 as your anchors. If you try this & want to know more. Write me at larryicon@yahoo.com . These are just tools & require much practice before you own them.....Larryicon
