Progress report - nailed it, thanks to your posted .pdf. Now need to work it in with the band, but it should be fine.
Played along with the recording and my fiercest critic (my 12 year old daughter!) said that it was spot on, but didn't seem inspired by it. So I downloaded the US3 hip-hop version "Cantaloop" for her, and that hit the spot.
Generational gap thang goin' on here.  |

| | Great. I love this tune. Mostly because it's a ''shredding" vehicle with a great groove.
Regarding kid's and jazz, I once did a gig for a childrens workshop and the piano player called Giant Steps. The kids started calling out 'faster,faster,faster'. I don't think they 'got it'  |
