Help Advanced finger picking help!!!

What musicians would be best to study for advanced finger picking techniques? Thanking you in advance.

Lenny Breau, Ed Bickert - two great examples of how to use fingerstyle techniques in a jazz context. Also Ted Greene, Kenny Poole.....great players, all well represented on youtube.

The most technically innovative and advanced right hand technique I'm aware of belongs to Scotty Anderson - he uses a thumbpick, and plays single note runs with complex combinations of thumb and fingers in a way that has to be seen to be fully appreciated; he also plays runs in double stops that are faster than some players manage in single notes, using right hand fingerings that make the whole thing sound amazingly smooth. Again, there's lots of him on youtube, including some tutorial material. Check this out for an introduction to what Scotty can do
