Video It Might As Well Be Spring

I've got time on my hands these days so I'm using it to shoot some youtube videos. The challenging thing of course is the real time & no edit situation. No fooling around with protools or whatever. Gotta be with warts and all.
I'm a huuuuge Brad Mehldau fan and he did a version of this sweet old standard in 7. That is maybe the most killing odd meter version of any song I've heard so far.
Throw me a comment! Cheers, Mads

YouTube - It Might As Well Be Spring (gotta be in 7, like Brad Mehldau does it)

Mads,

That is 100% killing. Amazing job to keep the time and touch while ripping those kinds of chords and counterpoint. Sick!

Hi Jeff
Thx a lot mate :-)

Eons ago I had a lesson with Peter B...he jumped at me for not knowing enough standards. And quite rightly so I might add. Sweet cat.
Cheers M

Well done. I like the feel and open ringing chordal sound and the moving counter lines.

Very cool. I love playing and listening to tunes in odd meters. I feel 1/2 Bulgarian at times and am hooked on a lot of the local music from that area of Eastern Europe. Good job - Mick
