I'm guessing, but I think this is just a robot post-there not being a "real" JamesDenardo. Bots trawl the net, joining these forums, and then more bots post messages, which are about nothing, and always contain a link. You click the link on the post, or look up their profile and see a link in their sig--the bot did it's job and drove traffic to said site. C'Est la Vie.

Great stuff-- And, all I would be doing is guessing which is which. I can't tell, but I will say great playing and great sound. Nice bass, as well.

Sooo...which one was the Tele? I couldn't tell - it all sounded good - loved the bass. I like duos - compact, but some really nice music from such. This one included.

Thanks again, you guy's are too kind. I havn't been playing Jazz that long and I am only 20 so it's nice to have good feedback!

Mr B... I'll definatley have to get across the ocean with my 125 so we can trade 4's on old western swing and jazz tunes!

The Tele is used on 'Satin Doll'. There's a line I play on there that goes beyond the 12th fret that was kind of a give away. This recording really showed me how it's all about the amp.

You are correct - the amp does have a lot to do with the sound. I just switched from a Roland (nice but I broke it) to a tube amp. Large, and nice, difference.

Of course, don't forget the player! Your heart and fingers are the basis for uyour sound.

WS,

which amp is Satin Doll played through?

Sounds good and I prefer the tele sound - I'm amazed
