Default Blu trane once again...

Yo.
Just popped by to say I continued working a bit on Blue Trane. Managed to get it better on the 'beat' as it were. Been struggling with this pick thing, which has been a problem for me - not holding it, getting it on time, in time, on the beat, or as I prefer it; slightly ahead...
Took 2 days of full concentration, eagerly exercising, to get some control. It's not prefect per se, but a lot better than 2 days ago. The problem is getting those eights evenly distributed along a timeline. They tend to clog up the pipe, so to say. Alas, I just cannot find a lot of inspiring lines over this one, why? No idea. Major blues is so much easier to play. Just is.
Well, it's at my 4shared folder, and it's a huge improvement, at least. It also uses the very fine les paul sound I've found. That one at least is perfect.
And might be enjoyed.
But it's mainly an exercise for getting those eights ok. And they're on their way...
Peace
Skei (the practicing time one)

Thanks for listening in, mississippi, well,
the confidence is probably growing a bit, but only a tiny bit, as I'm practicing hard with the metronome to get a more precise link to the beat of a tune. Also a few days off from any other practice than metronome stuff seems to wake up some idea generating engine in there, I suppose too much focussing on repeating tunes to find something just kills creativity...
I'll do that for a few weeks or so now, to get my pick in order, and then we'll see about trying to do some evaluation by recording a tune. But I must say I just cannot find anything interesting to play over this type of tune, it's not bad or anything, it simply doesn't connect, click, trigger, whatever you want to call it. As I'm always working on feeling, that's crucial to me, so I won't ever be able to play this one inspiredly. Sadly enough.
Peace
Skei (the still not quite awake one)
