Lots of fast playing with a lot of bounce going on. Liked it.

WHOA! Excellent, but I never did hear the vacuum cleaner? Probably for the best, it wouldn't have added anything to the tune.

Post more.

Hey! That was a fun listen. Made a cranky old man smile. (Vacuum Cleaner) The "Song with no name" was very introspective- I got a real good "throw-back" vibe on both of those pieces- and I mean that in the most positive way I can mean it.

LOL. I played the tape for a buddy one time and he said, "Hey, this would be good to listen to when you vacuum or clean your house." So I called it vacuum cleaner.

I used a Fostex 8-track reel, 1 Shure 58, classical guitar(played with a pick), a stand-up bass and tapped on a Roland drum machine. I guess this is about twenty years ago. I couldn't get a decent sound from the bass no matter what I tried. I just didn't know anything about mics back then.

I really struggled(and still do) with the idea of using backing tracks or multi-tracking. I wrote some other bop type tunes but didn't record them completely.
For the other tune I wanted to write and record something really fast and use an alternate tuning, just to experiment. It took maybe 2 hours.
