| | Another clip from the gig with Jon Damian Here's another clip from the jazz brunch with Jon Damian. This one swings hard with some beautiful ideas from Jon, who takes the head and first solo. I like how as he gets into it, in the kitchen behind us something starts sizzling on the grill! One way to positively look at the distracting background noise! | | Jon Damian.
I hope you don't mind me saying this.
I bought a book that he wrote.
"a guitar player's guide to composing and improvising."
I have some other "how to play jazz" books;
For me, Jon Damian's book is by far the best. I mean, it's not close. and it's written by and for guitar players.
It's packed full of very helpful ideas and explanations, all straightforward and easily understood.
so, it's nice to hear him play. thanks very much. great playing.

I recall that I had a couple of questions, contacted Jon, and he got right back to me. I still have to pick up the "Composing And Improvising" book.
