Hi bro!

Your pentatonics are cool, but try to give some more "salt" to your playing! As I can hear Your backing track is in Amin and thats a minor blues. So its 1-4-5, Amin7-Dmin7-Emin7 right? Give a try to Cmaj, Fmaj and Gmaj (base,7,9) arpeggios and use chromatism between them. Or use some exotic minor scales under those chords and just drop the scale notes randomly each after each. Or mix the random notes of the exotic minor scale with C,F,G (all majors) arpeggios and add some chromatism. Try to use the 13th, 11th, 9th note of each chord in your playing under the min7 chords (I mean if you hear the Amin7 chord, play the 9 (B),11 (C),13(D), of the Amin scale) and so on. Use that also under the other chords. Or use the arpeggios of the chords which You think can be substituted for the 1-4-5 here. Example: D#dim7 arp under the Amin7 etc. Do not put the arpeggio's notes each after each, randomize them, and if the line is cool for your ears, memorize it!

Sorry to disturbing You with these, but I was also using only pentatonics and i felt that something is missing. And i feel now much more comfortable. Try what I wrote, its worth it!

Wanna see more of Your videos!

cheers,
laci
