Default Ask me now(live)-telecaster

This is form a recent gig. This tune was called by the keyboardist, I didn't know it but he had a chart(I am a bit off on the changes a couple of times).
Using my new custom classic telecaster.

Nice warm sound.
You try sometimes blues bending...may be it is just Tele- not jazz box.
jazzingly
kris
ps.
I put on my tele 12' strings and this eliminated a little bendings...

Hi, thanks! I love bending-trying to use a bit more of it. I don't own a jazz-box right now, but if I did I'd be bending. It is still possible to bend with 12's.

Very nice. I'm a Tele-holic myself.

Have you ever thought of putting flatwounds on your Tele?

Hi, thanks a lot! Telcasters are great instruments for sure.
I have never tried flatwounds on this guitar or any of my other guitars.
I like to listen some other guitarists using flatwounds but it doesn't work in terms of sound and feel for what I am doing. I am also using these guitars for pop, rock and blues.

Flatwounds aren't for everyone... even on a jazzbox. I used them for awhile on solidbody guitars. But now I'm gravitating toward pure nickel strings for everything.

FYI: Here's the guy from whom I got the idea to put Flatwounds on a Tele. Kenny Vaughan: Country, Rockabilly, Honkytonk and more than a little bluesy guitarist for The Fabulous Superlatives

Hi, I have actually checked out Kenny before n some of the stuff he played with Lucinda Williams. He is a great player and he gets a really cool sound with flatwounds.

Soco, you just got that nice feeling about your playing, kind of a coffee shop sound that is still popular here. Maybe you want to buy an airline ticket and do hit the scenes here in Tokyo. Oh, make sure you bring your guitar.

Sounds great! I've had a hankering for a thinline tele for some time. One of these days... when the ship comes in!

Thanks a lot! This new telecaster is a solid body custom shop Fender, but I do own a G&L ASAT semihollow with two humbuckers. I actually prefer the Fender.
I liked you clip a lot.
