Check This Out! "Retrieval Structure" Debut CD Release

Quentin Angus Quintet- "Retrieval Structure" Promo Video.avi - YouTube

I am new to this forum, and am happily spreading the word of my debut album "Retrieval Structure" (please see the promo video for the album above).

It has been described as:

"A statement of bold beauty, artistry and ability. Angus' guitar playing and compositions both push and blur the boundaries of popular instrumental music" – Doug Munro

"Angus's new recording is loaded with challenging compositions, and some stellar playing from all. I recommend it highly."- John Abercrombie

"Quentin Angus' debut record is a collection of very adventurous, yet heartfelt, compositions. His statement on the guitar is very personal and unique and the band sounds excellent." - Gilad Hekselman

Please check out my website: www.quentinangus.com to order the CD, or for more information on my playing!!

Best,

Very interesting stuff - right up my alley. I love the sound of the guitar right in sync with the saxophone.

I'll take a chance and order a copy. But you should really get yourself on Amazon! :-)

Welcome to the forums - it's nice to have a successful pro from the NYC scene on board here. I hope we get to hear more from you regarding your experience and insights into jazz guitar.

Thanks for the kind comments!!

And FatJeff, I've received your order, so I'll be shipping a copy off for you on monday when the post office opens again.

My CD will be on Amazon, I-tunes, CD baby and the rest after I do my USA release of the album, which will be sometime in the next 6 months. I have released it in Australia though, so hard copies are available at the moment through my website.

Looking forward to checking out the forum and I'll certainly keep up-dates coming.

Thanks!
