Check This Out! My One and Only Love

I just uploaded a take on "My One and Only Love".
I'd love to get some feedback on my playing. I know I goof on the bridge when stating the melody.

I've been working on chord melody playing lately which is my weakest area. The chord melody is simple, but I think it's effective. I tried to avoid big chords and over-harmonization.

Here it is: Amund plays: My One and Only Love - YouTube

Loved it! I like the feel change in the middle. Swing to double-time Latin - nice.

Great tone and overall sound quality. Love the separation of instruments. You ever listen to '74 Dead? That's the only time they really recorded soundboards that separated the instruments like that. (And with acoustic piano, ES 335 rhythm guitar, clean-toned lead guitar, and single drum kit, it was not coincidentally their most jazzy period.)

Thanks! I used Aebersold play along. He mixes them like that so you can pan hard left or right to take away certain instruments.
In retrospect I hear the piano clash a lot with the guitar, so I should have thought about that. But this above all a learning experience for me and I don't think people get too offended by it(I hope).

I haven't listened to 74 Dead. Sounds like something I might like though. Please point me to a listening example so I can check it out.

Thank you to the other people who commented as well for the nice words and encouragement.

Very nicely done,Amund!
I was going to mention that the piano may have been a little too loud, but I see you covered that already in your follow up post.
Brings up an interesting issue.Do chord melodies sound better without backing tracks?

Very Nice, beautiful tone and beautiful guitar.
May I ask you which guitar is that and how was the recording technically made?
