Don't encourage the Ugg monster, Jostein.

It's nice to be posting again after such a long time off playing.

Thanks, man.

Man that is some sweet blowing and amazing tone! What shoes were you wearing?

Legit to share a lead sheet for this tune?

Well almost 100% now.
I have been keeping fit. Arm strength training. Cardio vascular stuff.
Salads mainly. Just water no coffee tea

Seems to be working. I can type again. Kept up with the action on here and tgp but not posted.

Been listening to your blossoming. Beautiful to witness, Jostein.

Thanks for the kind words Mike.
I am really glad you are getting better! Coffee would be though for me to give up(it is just so good), but I guess if it can give you full recovery it is well worth it. I am really digging your style of playing and sound as well the compositions and group interplay. I hope I can see you live someday, you are one of the absolute top players in Europe, truly world class.

Cheers, Jp. There is an interesting version online somewhere, I think at Fasching Jazz club in Sweden. Very different again.

It's a band that courts danger, which I love.

I think it would. You should get in touch with the Ugg-UK departement and see if you could get a sponosrship for your group.

OMG!! Swallow in UGGS!!!! HAHAAHA.... that would totally make my day, man.
He'd do it too. We went on in hard hats one time. We found em back stage and Swallow was well up for it. Most excellent humour that guy.
Dry as a bone one minute and crazy the next. Between him and Adam's Joke machine gun delivery, ya just gotta love em.

I think matching Canada goose jackets(offered by the UGG company) would be a great thing for you guys!
Sounds like a fun band!

Wow. that was really cool.

I am still amazed that, using this as an example, that cats can play so coherently and emphatically at high tempos.

Sometimes, I wonder if it's just a confidence thing--or most likely a part. Play like you mean it, if you make a mistake, make sure it's a big one, don't stop and take numbers, keep on moving forward, don't think, there is no thinking, there is only music. Maybe if one starts thinking, one may start stuttering.

Like the Will E. Coyote. He was doing just fine, gravity had no effect on him---- until he made the conscious decision to look down. Then he was, toast, and he knew it.

Anyway, that's what I took from listening to this, plough on through, don't look back (Cromwell may be right behind you, in the driving rain. )

That's a great post. It's spot on.
It's a slippery fish. Just one look behind can ruin the journey ahead.

This is one of the hardest things to achieve, yet sounds so easy when you're flying.

All that work that needs you to be fully engaged with the info, nothing half assed, total commitment to an Idea, a thought, just so you can play free without the harness of that thought. To court danger.

When it happens, it's the best feeling in the world.
