John Scofield John Scofield - A Go Go (My Cover)

Hi everyone,
here's my version of Scofield's A Go Go. I'm using my new Line 6 M13, which has a built in looper for the backing.

Hi there!

Great sound and cool arrangement! You nail the Sco-signature sounds quite well! Congrats.

In your solo there are a lot of nice ideas and I really dig how you come back to the melody of the tune once in a while. It makes clear that you know what you are doing and where you are and it gives your solo a certain consistency. Toward the end of your solo, this consistency somehow decreases, at least to my perception.

As for constructive criticism, you could work on your vibrato and phrasing imho.
Vibrato and phrasing are major issues for me, too. So maybe I am over-aware of those things

Looking forward to hearing more!

Cheers,
H.

Nice playing.
Tone was pretty cool coming from the guitar.

I tried to get it as close sounding to the scofield sound as I could.

Do you think thatthe chorus I kicked in at times sounds kind of similar to his over the top chorus tone. That's the hardest sound formme to recreate

It's a bit hard for me to answer that one, but it sounded like you were enjoying what you were playing and had nice vibes going on.

Thanks. Enjoyed that.
I'm interested in how people are utilising loopers and
that is a great choice of tune to do this way. nice work

I like the sounds you achieve with your guitar.
As I have said before, works the vibrato.
Thanks for sharing.
Greetings!
