Default Jazz on a strat-Stella(live)

This is from a few months a go. Using my Fender custom shop deluxe strat.
I just got a new custom shop tele as well, I used it on a couple of gigs, but I don't have any clips yet.

What kind of amp are you using. The tone from the guitar has such a smooth sound.

Hi thanks. I am using a huge Roland jazz-chorus -it's not mine, but it is always at the club I am playing.

I love how you take advantage of the Stratocasters possibilities for tonal variation and articulation. Very nice playing, and the textures you chose for comping the bass player works out very well in that setting.

Very inspiring for me as I work on my phrasing a lot these days.
Keep sharing these clips

Hi, thanks!
This custom shop guitar came stock with Dimarzio Are 58 in the neck and middle and Area 61 in the bridge. I think they sound great and they are also noiseless...

Thanks a lot! Strats does indeed have a lot of tonal variations. I love how Jeff Beck and Terje Rypdal takes advantage of that as well as others.
I am working on different on getting better and new ideas in my phrasing all the time. I love how Scofield and Larry Carlton phrases, as well as many other.
It is a fun process.

Very nice! I love your playing, tone and the subtle use of the whammy bar. Your chord voicings during the bass solo are awesome and at some points it sounds like you are playing an electric piano!

Very nice! And I really like your original compositions! Did you study composition somewhere?

Thanks a lot! I was a performace major in school and never studies composition formally. We did however have to write songs and excercises for one of our improviastion classes, and I ended up writing some tunes that ended up being usable. From there I just kept on writing and gradually my tunes imporved(I hope).
Thanks again and happy holidays!
