Well played Jostein - it gives us "closer to beginners" a great example to shoot for.

I'm guessing your keyboard player is doing the bass - what specifically does he use, pedalboard with some kind of tone generator, or synth bass? It's a lot clearer than many organ players achieve.

Hi thanks guys!
You are right the organist is using a different set up than a lot of people.
He had a macbook with some program which he was getting the sounds from.
He also ran the bass sound and organ sound into separate amps.

I really like your playing, but this is a

tough tune to play without a listener right away thinking of John McLaughlin, if you know what I mean.

Hi, thanks-especially in this format with the organ-trio.
I have been playing this tune a bunch with bassists lately, It was more of a coincidence that I ended up calling the tune on this gig.
I love that album by John Mclauhglin, it is perhaps my favorite by him.

Hi, thanks for the kind words! I think he was playing a korg keyboard and got some of the sounds from his mac using native instruments.
I think he was running the bass sound and organ sounds in seperate amps.
Thanks again!
