Hi Jostein.

Thanks for sharing. Very cool version of the tune! Very nice groove.
The most outstanding thing to me, I have to admit, is the fantastic bass sound your organ player provides
Do you know what equipment he is using for that? Is it a real organ sound or is it a sampled bass? With pedals or just left hand?

As for the solo - a little sad that the guitar isnīt louder in the mix. Very nice solo, great timing and great build-up!

Most importantly, the track sounds like you guys had a lot of fun playing!

Cheers,
H.

ps: Will the tracks of your currently released CD "Release of Tension" be available on itunes anytime soon? Or will I have to set up a CDbaby account?

Hi thanks! The song is by Herbie Hancock.
I think I might have misspelled the song title, it should be "cantaloupe island."

Hi thanks a lot for listening and for you kind words.
I know the keyboardist was trying out a new set up on this gig, he was getting his sounds from a mac that he had hooked up. He was running the bass sounds through a bass amp at the club and the keyboard sound through a different amp. I am playing with him next week so I can ask him then.
"Release of tension" will be available on itnes-I am not exactly sure when, but it shouldn't be to long.
Thanks again!
