15 guitars and a drummer? I don't even want to think about a big band without 'bones.

What do you think of when you say 'Guitar Big Band' ?

It would be realistic to start out locally with 4 or 5 guitars... plus optional bass & drums. And you would need to hire a good composer/arranger who can actually write/arrange well for guitar. Building a good 'book' is essential...

Hi Paul,
Yes..you are right!
but...it will be good project for jazz festivals.
I've heard Django record/black vinyl with added guitars 30 years ago.
I have more think about music and arrange.

Bill Leavitt has a bazillion arrangements for small guitar ensemble. I don't know if they're collected and published anywhere, though. Berklee Press?
