Default Mike Stern Chromazone

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

I hope you enjoy it, my solo was improvised, and it was not as fusion as I would have liked... I have to be more confident in front of the camera, but well, this is what I can do for now.

Cool man, your covering. You might try and mix your single beat pattern with some two beat patterns etc...and try playing some more arpeggio style note collection rather than the tight style. It will help keep the pattern from getting old in a hurry. Very clean head... nice. Can you play it with a clean tone also... Reg

I agree, sometimes my runs are too scalar, I have to work on that. I can play the head with clean tone, but the solo would have to be very different, because the legato doesn't works very good for me with clean tone.
Thanks a lot for your comment!

Very cool. I liked your phrasing in the solo - especially at the beginning. I didn't mind the tone although it might have been better to use a different tone for the solo - just my taste, that's all.

I agree, my tone could have been better, but I can't get two good takes in the same month

and going a bit into holdsworth/greg howe territory was really cool.

Thanks a lot for your comments!
oneworld, yeah, I love both Howe and Holdsworth, they are big influences, also Guthrie Govan, every once in a while I try to steal them a lick or two
But you just can't steal Holdsworth's licks!

I knew I'd be back....

Just had to listen again. That fade out ending keeps me coming back for more.

Man, I'm diggin that tune. You say it's Mike Stern, eh? And what about your tracks, that's a good band!

Yeah! Really cool tune! I have a gp5 file with the head and solos, and the backing track, if you want I will happily send them to you!
I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

Hi Andre,

I'm not even a Mike Stern fan, and I loved that piece and your playing.

Muchas Gracias and good playing ;)

Hey Andres, that's some very nice playing there! Love this tune and your interpretation of it. I actually came across this looking for the backing track of this song and was wondering if you'd be able to share the same with me. Would really appreciate it. Let me know if you can, thanks.

Keep up the good work!
