Default AmpliTube 3

Just wanted to let you guys know that AmpliTube 3 was announced at Winter NAMM 2010. We've added a bunch of gear, and some of the new models might be of interest here for sure... Got some great cleans (new JC-120) and the nice Jaco-esque Acoustic bass amp and cab. There's a ton more there, and you can find more information at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/amplitube

Thanks!

We've also added the AmpliTube 3 Pedal package to our site - coming soon, street price should be $349. Check it out: AmpliTube 3

Amplitube 3 looks awesome. My guitars are patiently waiting its release. Wish I could say the same for myself!

Haha, yeah your guitars aren't gently weeping? Good for them. I have too many so they are not getting the attention, but not yet weeping either.

I know we're getting close. Check out this great video too, though, and I hope it helps bide the time! YouTube - IK Multimedia AmpliTube 3

I've tryed it althought I have a Line6 POD X3Live and amplitube was really nice.
It was the first time in my life i didn't erase all the presets from a digital 'thing'. some of them were usefull. and I didn't had to spend much time tweaking stuff.

That's great to hear! I know that a lot of people assume that presets suck. That's not always the case. We really try to show a variety of sounds with the stock presets and there are also great presets by users, our staff, and VIPs in the Preset XChange on our site. Seems like that's a gold mine that people don't hit often enough.

Another nice touch is that we'll have a few presets for each the effects. So you can have a favorite Small Stone setting and pull it up wherever you have that stomp instantiated. Good stuff.

awesome enhancement of the preset management... another feature like the 3d mic placement that i love in th1 but was missing in amplitube. combine that with the new creative effects like the ones i've used in guitar rig and now i've got the sound and all the features i've been wanting together in one amp sim! ik is really taking this thing to a whole new level with amplitube 3.

how much longer do we have to wait???

Not much longer And since we're in a jazz guitar forum, I'm pretty sure we'll have some Jaco presets in there for the 360 which is amazing for jazz and for rock (as evidenced by Jaco and John Paul Jones using the amp regularly).
