Try doing Google searches with the artist you to find tab for, for example:

pat metheny tabs

--will lead you to a bunch of sites that have guitar pro formatted tabs for Pat Metheny.

If you have GP5 there are links to sites that deal only in GP5 Tabs, they are in the GP5 online section.
