Default More BIAB questions

Had BIAB 9.0 for some time now and am finally getting into it and configuring it for my computer and equipment. I've not external VST's or anything, just an audio interface (Tascam US-122), USB keyboard (M-Audio Key Rig 49) and BIAB.

I set up the ASIO driver for my interface and the guitar plays back through my monitors. However, as the keyboard is USB and not MIDI it goes in through my computers' USB socket which (as with BIAB) plays back through my computer monitors. I don't want to set my entire computer soundcard to be going through my interface (and expensive monitors). I've had a look on PG website and forums - and the topics listed here but can't find anything. The latency from not going through the ASIO driver is also a problem.

Does anyone know how to setup BIAB to route through my interface rather than my computer soundcard and still be able to use my USB keyboard? It works on cubase but for the life of me, I can't get it to work

Hi DonnyK
I would need more info from you...especially on the keyboard you have. I would think that the keyboard might have come with a MIDI driver that can be installed and detected under options/MIDI drivers. If that were the case, your playback and record could be set to that choice. The US122 is a nice piece of work. I use one all the time on my Linux computer, which also will run BIAB under wine (a program that allows windows programs to run under Linux). Make another post, and tell me more so I could better help you, mate.
Ciao
