I like to work with Cubase, but I am very inexperienced with it.
At the moment I have to make a film as a school project which is going to replace an exam and I have to work on the audio of it.
It's a scene where somebody is presenting the news and my problem is that there is a certain interference, which I can not remove or at least don't really know how to do it. I have looked at the Noise Gate Funktion, but don't really know how to handle it (Screenshot!); can anybody help me; I am sure Cubase can do it, it seems that only I am not able to find the right functions or handle them correctly.
I would be very thankful for tips and tricks,
Hi there, a noise gate won't solve the background noise problem I'm afraid. In a speech example, a gate would be useful to silence any noise where there are pauses in speech. It can't remove the noise whilst speech is occurring.
You need some restoration software. This is one of the best I've used:
Thank you for your help!
I also looked at a function within a video editing program (I use, it's called Magix Video MX Plus 17) and it has a special feature which is called Audio cleaning and I could fix it with that tool!
But I still wanted to say thanks! Perhaps I'll need the program for a different scene and then I know about it, so thank you!
