Default Real book CD

So about 7 years ago or so I had a CD with 12 or so realbooks on it. Does anyone know where I might locate one of these now?

If I might chime in, not the same thing. These were discs with hundreds of jpegs of the many real books. No software, just data. They were always "nod nod wink wink" transaction. Somebody on the forum must have one. I've got one somewhere so I know what you're talking about but my disc collection is utter chaos.
Good luck.
David
PS avoid the Real Book software program. Some students bought it, regretted it and wasted their money. Doesn't load up and doesn't work at all.

Been there done that with the realbook software. And let me tell you that guy is awful to deal with. I tried to return the volume 2 disc which is unopened and he told me not going to happen no return to refunds read my website...I am still contemplating what to do about this azz clown.

I wish I could find it. It had so many real book in .pdf form...

I have it. I find it OK. It loads and it works just fine on My PC. I also bought his CD with the numerous Real and other fake books. I have been able to find almost any tune I came across in those books. One very annoying thing is the 21 pages (yes, TWENTYONE) of uninhibited praise for his own products one has to go through before arriving at the start page of the fakebook. But since it's always 21 pages, one learns to jump directly to page 22. Oh well ....

For those having Band in a Box, the following collection of "Real Book" lead sheets as BiaB files has been mentioned many times before, but some may not know of it yet:

RealBook - Phillips Music

I have it too and haven't had any problems other than a somewhat ungraceful registration process.
