How do you do pick-up notes in Tux? When I start a new song with, say, a key measure of 4/4, Tux starts the measure with 4 rests. I want a pick-up measure of 2 beats...
I'm sorry I can't help you, but let us know if you figure it out. I played around with TuxGuitar but gave up on it as a tool for notating music. I couldn't select which accidental it wrote -- it would use A# when I wanted Bb! I also couldn't figure out how to write (on one staff) a guitar part where you hold one or more notes while playing other notes above (or below) it -- essentially when you have more than one line or voice per staff.
With tux you have to do a lot of tricks to get stuff that other programs do simply. For anacrusis/pickup bars you have to make the time signature follow the beats.
So for your direct example the anacrusis measure, the time signature would have to be 2/4 instead of 4/4.
