Default RECORDING w/Boss 900CD

I am waiting for a used Boss BR-900CD recorder to be shipped to me.

My concern is this: I have back-up BIAB CD recordings that I use for solo gigs, and I would like to use some of these on a demo I plan to make on the 900.
I have heard that some recorders will not accept wave files from a cd that is home-made, unless it was made on that recorder.
I can not import the wave files from my pc because some of them are not in my pc anymore.

Anyone done this before?

You can always copy your CDs to your PC and then create whatever you need for the Boss... I do this all the time when I use Acid Pro which I legally bought but stopped updating as it was too expensive - and then Sony stopped supporting it, so each time I rebuild or change computers, my software refuses to accept MP3s without a NEW license number from Sony which they now refuse to provide!

Cheers,
Tony

Heh, thanks!
I had forgotten about that option. At least I'll have the wave files back in my PC.
I am hoping I can record the ones I want on my demo, directly into the Boss 900, thru the stereo-in RCA ports or or 1/4" A and B and the Stereo-out from my CD player.
Really do not want to use my PC for anything but making copies of the Master CD from the BOSS. Had to do a lot of un-installing and re-installing after trying to record with PC-based recorder.(10 yr old PC) Got my BIAB and printer working again..Thank God!
