Default Motu Electric Keys (rhodes, organ, piano etc. for accompanying)

I have been searching for the best electric keyboard program for a while, to back up my guitar and bass.

personally, i was sold on this...

YouTube - Motu Electric Keys instrument review

it helps to watch the whole video, because some of the presets are fails imo, so check them all out if interested.

$280 for the program though? depends how much you want it i guess

i thought the Rhodes were impressive, and that is mostly what i want it for.

you can use a sampler with Rhodes samples, but even using real samples, I can not get it to sound right. Maybe because I am not mapping the samples correctly. I love this demo though.

PS...thanks forum members for recommending reaper. About time

ok, found an ever cheaper program that IMO is great. It is all opinions, and since there is a demo, you can try it for yourself. It's called Vb3 and they also have a Rhodes MkII emulation, check it out.

Peace.

I am very poor right now, but as soon as I have $70, I am buying the organ emulation...then later the Rhodes emulation. So glad I found them.
