 ampkit by peavey or amplitube just wondering if anybody has any experience with the two? i'm trying to put my ipad to good use. i believe the hardware are comparably priced. thanks     |

| Sorry. Don't own an iPod or iPad, so I wouldn't know what to say, but I've tried the computer versions of both Amplitube and Revalver. They're both good, but I can't say how they compare to the respective portable rigs. I think you might be able to use one hardware device for either, meaning you might be able to own both apps (I read this on a forum a while back but can't remember where), but I'm not sure if one of them didn't allow this. You may be better off looking into which hardware gives better sound quality. I also can't remember if the apps themselves were offered for free. Hope that helped. | i just bit the bullet on the peavey ampkit link. i spend 28$ a week on tobacco so thirty for this seemed good money spent. downloaded both free apps, ampkit and amplitube. in a few days i'll have another musical gadget, will let you all know. ps went with the ampkit over the irig based on reviews on google and youtube favorites |
