Default George Benson

Hey,

I know that everyone has there favorite guitarist. Someone who just always seem to play directly to your soul. For many years, ive listened to recordings of Benson... looked at many dvds. and also heard many ppl say both positive and negative things about him. But last week, for the first time, i was able to hear him live in concert....... all i can really say, is that my mouth was open for the majority of the concert because i had NEVER personally heard a HUMAN play an instrument so artistic, so flawless. Needless to say, i left the concert in amazement, with the feeling of wanting to sell every guitar that i have simple because i felt so unworthy to even call myself a guitar player As sad as this might sound, it was really good for me and in so many ways, i think it can make a musician of any caliber more appreciative of his own gifts and the gifts that are very visible within other musicians, who may be a lot better. Benson is my favorite guitarist ever, and @ 67 years old, he's still the man!!! in my humble opinion.

Default I'am sure all of us have listened to loud rock bands

and any music that you have conjured has left instantly and that feeling of not admitting that you play a instrument has come over you only because they sound so good that you can't believe it so you join the gang of have a good disposition and enjoy another artist who is rich.I don't think i should of even commented so forget the part of a loud rock band the reason I'am even talking about this person is that i memorized 'On Broadway' which is one of his show pieces and to actually find a dime.
