Default Why is it...?

That, since I've been on this website, no one has ever commented on Canadian Jazz guitarist Brian Hughes. I'm not angry, just curious. He's got several albums out, and now a new DVD (no, I'm not a spammer). He kind of reminds me of Metheny before the guitar synthesizer thing (not that that is necessarily bad). It's really good stuff...he plays, mainly an ES 175, and a Guild DA 500 (?) as listed on his website. Anyone, good listening for anyone that might care...

I can honestly say I have never heard of him, and I like to think I am 'in the know'! Just seem to be so many great guys to check out these days.

I will definitely put him on my list of guys to check out. Thanks for the heads up.

Just trying to keep this thread active. I've love to see this guy in concert, but I think he only plays at Spegghetini in Seal Beach. Maybe if he toured more, people might pick up his music.
