| Amazing chops, lots of 'grease', killer time/pocket, great sound and vibe. He plays a lot of 4ths and intervallic stuff and has really mastered that sound. Very modern sounding/angular lines but with a foot in the school of Benson. He has a pretty hard attack but somehow smokes (no pun intended). He has a few discs out that are WELL worth checking out. Here is a clip, although he can play much farther out if he decides to.

| I know that he is out the bag that I am working on: playing jazz or funk without sounding watered-down in either way. Excited! |
