    What model Gibson is this he's playing and what's the history? It doesn't look like an L5 unless I'm wrong.
    I heard him on Dr Lonnie Smith's new soul Jazz album (EVOLUTION) which to me is a real scorcher!

    It's an ES-175 which he's had for 20-odd years.

    Aaah I wondered about that but it looks fatter than other 175s I've seen.

    Looks like an early 70's model to me. Does anyone know the details?
