Thats on a dvd called "Meeting of the Masters." I bought that dvd several years ago. I forget the guy's name that put it together.

He called Roy to see if he was interested in recording this with Joe and Roy responded that Joe was one of his idols. When the guy approached Joe with the idea, Joe suggested they do all Hank Williams tunes.

Great dvd. Roy is Roy and you see Joe playing some nice things over these simple chord progressions. In between songs they interview Roy and Joe.
If you can find the dvd, I think its worth purchasing.

I was hoping there might be a DVD but all I could find online was a CD. If anyone has any info on where to pick up a copy, please post a link.

Tbanks for the info, Dookychase.

Paynow, google blue highways tv, and the site is the first one to come up.
After you click on their site, you'll notice in the upper right hand corner, there are 3 dvds. One of them says Meeting of the Masters.

I don't know if its still available or not. You'll have to contact them.

Good luck

Until you find a DVD, here is a playlist with a few videos from that session.

Thanks folks. All the effort is most appreciated. I'm heading into NYC in a bit. When I'm done taking care of business I'm going to have a look around and see if I can find a copy.

It's really worth seeing the whole thing. It's good. I can't imagine a more unlikely pairing of guitarists but it worked beautifully. And I think I remember Joe Pisano chunking away on rhythm guitar on many of the tunes.

Yes, that is John Pisano playing rythim and I think Colin Bailey on drums. I don't remember who is playing bass.
