Default Nelson Faria

I caught this link in face book. This guy is a great player. You have to forward through to the playing. The first tune starts about 16 minuets in.

I really dug him, what do you think?

Wow. Thanks for posting this. He's great. I found the two books Randall mentions on both the Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites; "The Brazilian Guitar Book" gets great reviews. For CDs it seems his site is the best way to get them: NELSON FARIA, which is in both English and Portuguese.

I love the tone he gets; according to the site it's a Condor, Nelson Faria signature model.

Matt Warnock used to live in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where Nelson is from. Perhaps he had a chance to play with him or see him play.

I am glad that you guys dug him. I know I did!

Yeah, that TV program also featured Matt several months ago. The show is posted regularly on f/b.

I realized looking at the home page of his site: he's also a photographer. A double threat. I have a hard enough time with just the guitar.
