Default William Ash

I've been immersing myself in Wes and William Ash trying a to get a handle on block chord soloing and there's a wealth of stuff to listen to and learn from. Just wondered if many people have come across William Ash as he is a great player but maybe too far down the Wes fan route for some maybe but he's got great thumb and chord chops!
Anyone ever met him?
