| | Way cool. You're definitely right. Billy Bean's really tearing up that fingerboard. His tone is the ultimate jazz tone as I hear it. |

| | Yeah, if you read their bio in the link I gave, you see that they were some pretty hip guys. I am just amazed I have never heard of any of them before. Cool trio for the times.
They keep bitching time for not having a drummer. |

Then we have the ubiquitous Facebook which tells us he is still alive and well in Philly, where it is always Sunny, and where he seems to have found no need for a computer (which isn't such a bad thing): http://www.facebook.com/pages/Billy-...490224?sk=info
I've heard the recording you posted many times; I have it on some collection of jazz guitar recordings that I can't recall the name of. Great player and not nearly as well known as he should be.

Makes me want to quit. Geez!! Also has a current pic. The only info I can find is that he retired from the biz but it doesn't say why.

| | Billy Bean probably did more to influence towards Jazz guitar than anyone else. Those interstitials he did for The Beverly Hillbillies were my first taste of nice, clean Jazzy playing. |

Or did he do cameos like so many greats did?
Hmm
