Default Transcribing Joe Pass

Hello There!

How would you go on transcribing chord solos (such as those be Joe Pass)?

Got any Joe Pass chord solo transcriptions?

I transcribed a few of his chord solos a number of years ago and from what I remember I did the top and bottom line first and then filled in the rest. One thing about his chord solo style is that he uses the standard jazz chords 99.9% of the time and whenever possible employs some type of bar to free up the fingers. Which basically means he's not always using the obvious first choice in fretting.

There is a book of Pass transcriptions. I think the author is Alan de Mause. I would think that would be enough for Amazon.
