Default Elek Bacsik jams "Take Five" in 1964 w/ Himself!!!

Great video I recently checked out of the great hungarian jazz guitarist/violinist Elek Bacsik.

He was a superb guitarist that everyone should really check out. He was one of the few to coherently mix bebop and modern jazz guitar technique w/ gypsy lyricism and passion.

I recommend, and have, the album "Guitar Conceptions" to all. Just listening to the first few clips makes you really want this album!

Wow! I didn't know Elec Bacsik played the guitar. I had an old phonograph of him on violin with a group of Las Vegas musicians playing Parker tunes. At that time it was so impressive I played it hours a day and literally wore it out. Alas the record was never replaced and he faded from memory. Thanks for resurrecting him.
