Maybe not bebop but it's a lot closer to jazz than some of the metal shredding and fusion stuff that's been on here.

Default What is jazz?

Louis Armstrong playing "St. Louis Blues"? Miles Davis, Coltrane, and Adderley playing "Surrey With the Fringe On Top"? Duke Ellington's orchestra playing "A Train"? Charles Mingus doing "Goodbye Porkpie Hat"? Chick Corea doing "Senor Mouse"?... this is a pretty big target.

I think if a group of musicians can play something that other knowledgeable musicians struggle to put in any other box than "good music", they have accomplished a great deal.
