Default West Coast Blues lessons

I'm curious whether anyone on the forum has tried these video lessons for West Coast/jump blues guitar; they look pretty interesting:

West Coast & Jump Blues Guitar Lessons | Video Lessons For West Coast & Jump Blues Guitar

The Web page is informative, and he's right about Duke Robillard: a really versatile guitarist, who can move smoothly between several varieties of blues and jazz. Check out the duo album he made with Herb Ellis, "Conversations in Swing Guitar" (on iTunes).

Thanks for the reply. If you have time, I'd be glad to hear more about it when you're a bit further into the course. Looks like a lot of fun!

Hi guys I just read your posts and checked out the West Coast Blues Lesson site.
The music examples seem to be the style I am looking for.

However one thing stopped me from signing on right away and it is that they supply a data dvd for the backing tracks ,meaning it can only be played on a computer.
So do you think it would be possible to make your own backing cd or mp3 from the downloaded program that you could play through your amp or hi fi?

Wouldn't be difficult to pull the tunes off the dvd and convert them to whichever format you like best.
