His vocals sounds a lot like B.B, but his guitar playing is a bit different imo.

+1. Vocals are *really* BB-inspired.

Liked his guitar sound for this, too.

yes indeed.

he has his own ideas but is also influenced (unavoidably of course) by SRV.

BB Ray Vaughn, then?

and one more influence?

uh-huh, like one of those "official" pre-abused ones from Guitar Center that looks just like the real thing!

We don't have Guitar Center's up here, but from what I hear from you guys, they sound like the Walmart of guitar stores. Am I close?

That's probably for the better.
I actually went to the guitar center in Manhattan today for the first time in a while. They have some nice stuff there.

Caution: Never go to a Guitar Center on a Saturday afternoon (without wearing ear plugs)!

it depends on the area. they sell some high end stuff in some of the stores like PRS guitars up to $25K and Mesa Boogie amps. Some nice Martins and Gibsons. Check out guitar center platinum online.

they sell Gibson, Fender, PRS, Martin, Taylor guitars. Amps by Fender Mesa Boogie, Marshall, Vox.

not too shabby really.

and of course lots of more affordable stuff for kids and teenagers.

jazz guitars are not really on the menu though.
