Must Read Amazing Opportunity for Jazz Performers!

I just wanted to drop in a quick message to let you know about three amazing online jazz talent competitions we've just launched in association with Jazz FM.

Snake Davis, Dennis Rollins and Steve Waterman will select the winners from a community-voted Top 10, so get your entires up early and start getting those all-important votes!

Winners will go on to be mentored by the artists and will join them on stage for one song at an upcoming gig.

Hi Alex

It's not an audition, it's a talent competition, which is taking place right now online at puresolo.com

The Snake Davis and Dennis competitions are already running but there's still time to enter - and you can enter both competitions and double your chances!

Let me know if you need any help getting started - it's all explained at puresolo.com

Good luck!

Must Read warning!!!

Make sure you read the terms & conditions.

It will cost you to download the music and according to puresolo.com's website "All entries will be judged on the basis of skill, potential and style. This will initially be selected by other Users and due to sheer volume your entry may or may not be judged."

Seems like another version of "pay to play" and a surefire income generator for PureSolo. Wonder what the Musicians Union think of this?

I'm not impressed.

ps the mentoring involves a quick session before the gig and that's it!

And I notice that PureSolo.com don't have the balls to defend themselves.

Obviously they're just trying to scam the wouldbes, wannabes and desperate young hopefuls.

Seems like talking about trade, business... and the faith of musicians is like gold.

That's right, Paco.

Give us your money and you might, just might get a chance to play with a great musician but, then again, you probably won't even get judged. The music business has always been full of sharks preying on the innocent.
