I'm down in Rainier/ Yelm area; just east of Olympia. Unfortunately there isn't much of a music seen in Oly. and Seattle is to far away. Living in the country we are lucky if we get any live music and if we do it's destined to be a bad country band LOL. I don't know of anyone else on the forum from this area, although I believe there are a few from Portland.

I'm on Camano Island, about 60 miles north of Seattle. Nothing on the Island. Just a couple of small bands in the town of Stanwood. (Population = 2300.)

Bellingham has a pretty good classical guitar scene, and it spills over to nylon-string jazz often. The Northwest Classical Guitar Society there has a Yahoo group page (NWCGS : Northwest Classical Guitar Society) with meeting announcements etc.
