| | Well, come on up to Whistler's (corner Broadview/Mortimer) on Wednesdays (6:00 - 9:30 PM). I'm in a jazz trio on the patio for the rest of the summer, barring rainy weather.

| | toronto's a fun city and has a lot of great players. I don't live there, I used to go up a lot and almost moved there a couple of years ago.
Best of luck getting set up, you'll find some great musicians there. |

| | Great talent, decent city, a little to hipster these days. You'll find some great clubs. People and bands to check out when you can RinseTheAlgorithm - insanely groovy band featuring Rich Brown on Bass. The last time I was up I read that they had a late night gig the last Saturday of every month. (no guitar, but it is still great), Mike Murley, Kelly Jefferson, David Braid, Lorne Lofsky,
The Rex is biggest club in the City, its on Queen Street near University, these guys likely play there all the time. I used to spend a lot of time in Toronto. |

| | mike kelly david and lorne, all amazing players and friends. It's hard to not be in Toronto if i'm honest because those guys are all so killing. Lorne is probably one of the biggest unsung heroes of the guitar hang anywhere, he's on such a high level. People who've not checked him out need to, and not just going on youtube but go buy an album ("bill please" is my favorite of his as a leader). |
