Guitar Jazzy Lick lesson/demo by GUTHRIE GOVAN

Hi guys, Just bought Guthrie Govan's new album a few days ago. The album has Bad Asteroid on it with an awesome little jazzy break which i decided to work out and share with people up to speed and a little bit slower for anyone wanting to learn it.

Here ya go - Bad Asteroid - The Aristocrats / Guthrie Govan - Jazzy Break - YouTube

Enjoy

It's not a GG album as such. It's a group effort by The Aristocrats. And the song's been a round for years, actually. But nice stuff and excellent cover.

Nice playing, very cool riff. Very be-boppy, with a hint of funk thrown in!

Yeaahh, its a great little solo, especially as guthrie probably improvised it.

Maurice, it starts on the B note on the 19th fret, and goes down chromaticly to the 16th fret, then the same pattern but on the B string. If you download a program called Audacity or Transcribe, you can slow audio files down to make it easier to work out I hope this helps. If there is any phrases anyone wants me to have a go at working out and making a video, please let me know
