Default New FB Jazz Guitar Page

Hey Everyone,
As my website is growing faster that I expected, thanks all!, I decided to create a Facebook page for the site, instead of using my personal one which is filling up.

If you want to like my page just visit the link below, I'll be posting free lessons on the page, giveaways and discounts on lessons and ebooks as well for followers.

https://www.facebook.com/mattwarnockguitar

Cheers,

I've been giving away a lot of cool items on my FB page lately, like free skype lessons, free ebooks and free 6 month memberships to guitarmasterclass.net. Check it out and give it a like!

Matt, can you give us some recommendations on how to best use your website and lessons? Is it a matter of just taking only what applies to us as individuals and where we are at in our Jazz journey, or should we do the ol' "learn it and forget it as one of the forum members has quoted a Jazz great saying?

Thanks

markf: Thanks!!

AlsoRan: You can use the material in a number of ways. If you are looking to expand your chord playing, you can look under the lesson category for "jazz guitar chords" and then pick one or two to work on in the woodshed. Or, you could just go through a number of them, and pick a few things from each article to work on rather than the entire article, then come back to them later on and try out different things.

I think you can just learn stuff and then forget it, but for me the best way is to pick one or two things, so maybe a scale idea, a chord idea, a rhythmic idea and an improvisational concept, then just work them solidly for a month or two until they are really down and you have strong control over those items, then move on to the next.

That's where I've made, and I've seen my students, make the most progress in the practice room.

Hey Jeff,
you just go to the page and click "like" under the big picture, then you'll be following the page. Let me know if that works.
