| | Debut Album is Official Greetings Jazz Guitar.be cats.
I've been posting here for a while, of course off and on and mostly because, well I try not to spend as much time on the net as I used to (damn addictive internet).
But today I come to you to let you guys all know that my Debut album "Follow" will be available to download, purchase or otherwise listen to in full starting November 25th if not sooner (depending on how things go with the final production).
Either way, I want to use this thread on this forum as a base for information for anyone interested in checking it out.
For now the title track is available to listen to on my website. Jake Hanlon Guitarist/Composer
peace and thanks. |

| | Well played. I like it - I'll pick up a copy also.
I listened to the piece on your website, and it may be just me - but your playing seems to have one of the stylistic things Charlie Christian held as a goal, the sense of melody of a skilled reed man. Nice. |

| | Follow Follow is really, really nice, Jake. It is modern jazz, very expressive and a good showcase of your composing and playing talents. I know I will be adding your album to my personal favorites. Thanks very much for sharing.

| | Very good news !
I'm listening "follow", very cool, modern sound. I like this.
Can you tell us more ? What is the core of your project ?
Do you keep the same band (piano, drums and bass) for the others tracks ?
I' m impatient to listen the others tracks ! |

| | the entire album is the same quartet playing original music of mine. We recorded it in may of 2008 so it's somewhat dated (ie; I play differently now then I did then and since then the quartet has all gone our separate ways). |

| | Thought I'd bump this, as the album is now available on iTunes (256 kb AAC encoding, better than MP3 quality).
Just buying and downloading now--to my phone, of all things! weird, eh?
Looking forward to listening to it! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
